However , despite these big name review , for us there has been one very clean winner and one very clear loser to beautify the headlines this week . Here ’s what they are .
Winner: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Watch fans
This week Samsung fans have had plenty to get excited about with a sea of fresh rumours and mite about its fabled next wafture of foldables and wearables .
First we see Samsung overleap a teaser trailer for its newGalaxy omega Fold 4andGalaxy Z Flip 4handsets , a week before it ’s expect to uncover the devices at its event on August 10.The 40 second gear clipdidn’t give much away but it carried taglines suggesting that the handset will have a focus on improve productivity and near camera carrying into action .
The latter is particularly crucial as camera performance was a key issue we experience testing the olderGalaxy zee Fold 3andGalaxy izzard Flip 3last year . The cameras on both phones performed well , but did n’t follow close to rival the experience we got scoot on theGalaxy S22 Ultraand other flagship French telephone at the time . This is a key reason you wo n’t see either in ourbest camera phonesguide .
But adding a cherry on top , we also see some fresh leaks about the fabledGalaxy Watch 5 . This is a key release for Samsung as it ’s expected to be the society ’s second wearable to have the much improved Wear group O 3 , rather than Samsung ’s ownTizensoftware . The use of Wear O 3 was a primal reason why we loved the olderGalaxy Watch 4when we review it last class . From what we ’ve seen that wo n’t be the Watch 5 ’s only selling stage .
Specifically , we visit a report from in series tech leaker SnoopyTech on Twitter intimate the Watch 5 will have muchfaster charging than the Watch 4 , which is a practiced thing as assault and battery life was middling at good on the older simulation , free-base on our trial . On top of that we also saw a report card surface on Samsung ’s own web log reporting a new , more overt focal point on fitness and wellness services for its wearables , suggesting thatthe Watch 5 may volunteer more developed trailing servicesthan its predecessor .
Loser: Moto phone fans
While Samsung fans were given a lot to get delirious about , the opposite was true for Motorola followers . This week , after a lot of build up , the speech sound maker dead cancelled an event where it was expected to unveil the Moto Razr 2022 and X30 Pro .
The party was due to moderate its launch event at 11:30am GMT / 7:30am ET on August 2 , but general manager Chen Jintook to Weibo mere time of day before it was set to beginto announce that the launching would no longer take position .
No cause was give with the spot just stating :
