That might not sound too impressive on newspaper compared toflagshipslike theSamsung Galaxy S23 Ultraand its various zoom lens system , but real - world performance is a different level all told .
Just like with thePixel 7 Pro , images captured by the main rear lens are stunningly detailed with impressive dynamic range , even on absurdly gay days , capturing particular in both highlights and dingy areas with informality . The colour is more accurate to straight life than you ’ll find from the like of Samsung with its chroma - heavy processing .
It ’s a like report with the ultrawide ; though it ca n’t take advantage of pixel - binning tech like the primary detector , the overall quality and colour palette are indistinguishable between the two . There ’s also a lack of ultrawide distortion , a problem with a lot of utmost ultrawide cameras .
The 5x ocular rapid growth also provide a level of versatility you do n’t really find on foldables in 2023 , deliver pin - sharp close - ups with a surprisingly natural bokeh . In fact , I favor the natural bokeh from the 5x lens to the software - powered choice from Portrait mood which can sometimes get edges a little awry .
Being a Pixel - brand smartphone powered by the AI - focusedTensor G2chipset , the smartphone also excels at AI - power photography features like Night Sight . Though not quite adequate to of beguile unnatural levels of light as some flagship with magnanimous sensor , it ’s true to what I was control with the naked oculus and , crucially , capture is pretty bloody tight .
