thought : Apple TV+is painfully underrated in my opinion . Unlike other banner which rely on a library of deed , or licence content from other studios . It ’s a citadel of original content , and long may that continue .
It does n’t get everything correct . There are good deal of misfire to go with the successes . One of its crowing successes was Ted Lasso , not a show that everyone liked or in full understand its sense of humour , but a series that put Apple TV+ on the streaming landscape painting .
Regardless of how you felt about how the third season end , it did finish with a sense of finality , and it drew things to a closing ; which makes me trepidatious about the announcement of a four time of year . Just like in football , there are times when you should n’t go back to your former club . It does n’t often terminate well as Romelu Lukaku might severalize you .
The announcement of a fourth time of year is disappointing because it present that Apple is a ) not only not ready to move forward but b ) does n’t look too convinced about what it has to bid in the here and now . A pennon that ’s confident about its coming ticket would be search forward , but clearly Apple needs a statement to show it has braggy hitters along with every other banner .
Because if that were genuine , that would reflect in a disappointing personal manner on the tastes of customers , and while not ( actively ) try out to confuse spectre on the great unwashed , we ’re always complain of the same old enfranchisement but only turn up for things that we recognise . It ’s frustrative that all the top ten of 2024 ’s highest grossing film are subsequence to something that already survive , but how did get to the point of throw those sequels ? Because someone , at some point , dare to create something new and dissimilar from what came before .
