Design
The NuraTrue Pro role model bear similarity to the previousNuraTruewith their disc - based touch aerofoil and the ear - tip section but that ’s really all it is – similarity . The Pro fashion model are a sleeker , more urbane effort that marks it out as the premium option in the pedigree - up .
I ca n’t plain about comfort levels in the time I ’ve spent with the NuraTrue Pro as they ’ve present no issues in that regard , the rubbery material offer a well cushion when they ’re induct in the ear . The fit is n’t necessarily wet but I do n’t find any sense of apprehension that they ’d return out . The Pro come bunch in with four ear - tips of dissimilar size plus a wing - bakshish version for that more dependable fit .
The large disc surface is for operating the earphones , and surgical operation has been fairly seamless and responsive with single , double and triple taps alongside double rap and arrest provide a variety of option for interacting with the earphones . you’re able to customize the touch controls within the Nura app

As those are n’t out yet – they ’re expect later in 2022 – in the meantime Android users will have to make do with aptX Adaptive at best . If you ’re an iPhone user you wo n’t gain from aptX as Apple keep going AAC alternatively .
Spatial or3D audiohas become a more popular mode of listening in the retiring few year . 3D sound might still be considered a gimmick by some but the identification number of brands and earpiece corroborate for it suggests that ’s changing and that impulse is build . The transparency or ‘ societal ’ mode is moderately good . A single spigot on the left over earbud pose it up , allowing strait to come through and melt off the volume of whatever you were listening to . It make it easier to have conversation with someone as you may hear them more easily without having to take the earphones out . Give the left earbud another tap and you ’re back to full noise cancellation . There ’s no slider in the app to transfer the strength of the ANC or Social mode .
If you ’ve used the Nura app ( iOS and Android ) before , it ’s about with a few features specific to the NuraTrue Pro ( Spatial Audio has to be manually toggled on ) . For whatever reasonableness I keep seeing a ‘ create your business relationship ’ page when I give the app , but I imagine that ’s just a odd crotchet that will ( hopefully ) go away . There ’s no sign of the zodiac of the ProEQ function for manually adjusting the EQ configurations yourself but otherwise it ’s the same sportsmanlike , ocular experience of before .
Sound Quality
I feel the personalised attack to auditory sensation that Nura has taken intriguing . Having used the NuraTrue andNuraPhone , both readings from the measuring tests are near to the NuraTrue Pro . So there ’s a degree of consistency in its carrying out that carries across the line - up of earphone .
But with the personalised strait , does that entail what I ’m get wind is totally unlike from you ? And by how much ? And what upshot does that have on the accuracy of what I ’m hear to – as I hearing it as the creative person think ? Those are plausibly question for another fourth dimension , but in terms of Nura ’s approaching the NuraTrue Pro take a liquid and warm glide path across the frequency mountain range . There ’s lucidity , width and a robust tone to bass that makes for sound that I ’d guess would have wide solicitation .
High frequency notes are clear and defined though not the brightest rendering I ’ve heard , but there ’s is a nice crispness to cymbal crashes . The midrange is devoid of any sibilance , voices described with a good flavour for clarity , though the warmth of the sound does seem to trim some contingent and outright definition of instruments . I also would n’t say they ’re the most dynamic in terms of expressing the difference between tip and lows in caterpillar track . They ’re not attacking or drive in that sense , taking a slightly easygoing , comfortable tone instead .
With regard to the Dirac spatial sound , this is n’t whizz - strike absorption with official document flying this way and that . I ’ve receive the experience so far to be very insidious in terms of positioning of instruments in the soundfield to the decimal point where I sometimes wonder whether I ’ve toggled Spatial Audio on ( or off ) in the app . I suppose that ’s the point , that spatial audio recording is not meant to distract or draw your tending to something that ends up vocalise unnatural .
It ’s meant to lift the experience but in a general horse sense , I do enquire whether you ’d want something more emphatic than subtle . It ’s an interesting still not entirely convinced by the merits of spatial sound just yet . There still seems to be some experiment in how much to bear on the effect or not push the effect , whether we ’re dealing with upmixed stereo track or native mix .
