Introduction
LG ’s M - serial OLED are fundamentally G - series models , except instead of being primarily design to be wall - mounted , this series feature a different quirkiness . It ’s a totally wireless TV .
I have in mind wireless in that they ’re scurried away in a wireless box that can be place aside from the exercise set , with movie and video carry wirelessly to the TV . It ’s a clean trick , and at CES , I was give a brief preview of the upcoming M4 OLED .
Design
I forgot to ask LG which sizing was on show but if I had to guess I ’d say it ’s the new 65 - inch fashion model . That is the smallest size available for the M4 organic light-emitting diode , with 77- , 83- , and 97 - in options also available .
Like the G4 , the emphasis appear to be on wall - mounting the TV , though a fancy - take care pegleg stand should be available like it was with the M3 model . The obvious solution is a wireless soundbar , and both the SG10TY and S95TR are Modern wireless soundbars from LG that can link up via the WOWCAST applied science .
Features
Everything that features on the G4 carries over to the M4 . There ’s the brighterMLA panelwith all of LG ’s algorithms and supercharge included , the α ( Alpha ) 11 AI central processor that brings with it the AI Director Processing , Object Enhancing , and DRM - drubbing processing .
Refresh rates up to 144Hz are support for PC gaming , there is four projection screen Multi View , and the fresh webOS 24 . Effectively , the M4 is the G4 , except the connections are wireless .
Performance
There will also be parity in the picture department , so do n’t expect the M4 to have an vantage over the G4 . This means it ’ll strike the same tier of brightness with message . LG would probably like you to buy a soundbar to go with this screen , as I mentioned in the Design discussion section , there are two capable model that LG is launching in 2024 that can wirelessly hook up to the M4 OLED .
