EE has announced its fastest home broadband yet , with a Full Fibre 1.6 Gbps servicing wave out to UK household this summer .
The new broadband will be built on a gigabit+ capable full fibre net , with EE claiming it will provide average speeds that are 44x faster than Superfast Fibre .
EE has n’t specified pricing for this raw broadband service just yet , and has said more details will be uncover in “ due course ” . But you could register your pursuit to be notified of availableness as soon as possible via theirofficial site .
EE will also be launching new routers alongside its Full Fibre 1.6 Gbps table service , including the Smart Hub Plus , which EE scream its most advanced router yet . With this new router , EE promise “ best in class Wi - FI control ” allowing the user to prioritize bandwidth for specific gadget and set parental controls so your tiddler are n’t playing on-line games way past bedtime .
The new Smart Hybrid Connect will also become available this summertime , which can run with the latest Smart Hubs to ply a backup cyberspace connection to EE ’s mobile internet if your home broadband ever shuts down . Other new hardware options from EE include the Smart Hub and Smart Wi - Fi .
All of the novel products will be made from up to 95 % recycled credit card , with EE also confirming it will use recycled material for its box packaging .
