Apple has issued a stark warning that the EU ’s desire to increase the interoperability of Io could damage iPhone owners ’ privacy .

In a newwhite paper , the company has point the finger foursquare at Facebook owner Meta . It says Meta would have the run of many of Apple ’s primal proprietary technologies if the EU is able to lucubrate the Digital Markets Act to ascertain Apple open up .

Apple forecast such a move would enable Meta to “ alter functionality in a way that raises concerns about the privacy and certificate of users . ” It points out no company has made more requests than Meta to get at Apple ’s technology stack , Reutersreports .
